The shape of the device still prevents fingers from becoming trapped offers the same protection from foreign objects as a regular coin slot. If 4 coins can be donated as easily as 1 this devise can easily result in a 100% increase in donations.

We noticed that an obvious flaw with old donation box designs is that they simply blend into the background. People walk past and simply do not notice them. DN8's are different they are bold, bright and constantly moving. If twice as many people notice the box, could this double donations?
